What do you think? I don’t think it is.

I struggle with this one haha. I mean to me it’s not, but I can clearly see the argument.

Is sushi made in America considered Japanese food?

Is a burrito with Korean BBQ insides burrito?

These are the questions of our time.

    It’s clearly not a sandwich.

    If it’s a sandwich, it’s a submarine sandwich.

In case any of you haven’t read it: https://corsica.hockey/misc/sandwiches.pdf

    Wait,

    I conclude hot dogs and
other submarines inhabit an entirely separate group of foods, as do raviolis and all
    bagel products.

How am I supposed to trust a link that says raviolis are sandwiches?

I just re-read this sentence and I feel even more confused than the first time I read it.

I’m actually stating that raviolis, like submarines, are a distinct class of bread foods separate from sandwiches. Calzones and beef wellington belong to the ravioli category.

If you have two hot dogs and you cut one lenghthwise and put the other one in between the two halves is that a hotdog sandwich?

Two or more hot dogs occupying a neighbourhood are already a sandwich.
